Candace Valenzuela is running for Congress in Texas’ 24th Congressional District. As a lifelong Texan, she has deep ties to the community and has spent her career investing herself in public service. She has an array of experiences, especially in the world of education, including mentoring youth, tutoring, and working with special-needs students. She’s also served as a representative on the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District board since 2017. In Congress, she’ll prioritize access to health care, lead on major campaign finance reform, and work to strengthen public education.
