Veronica Escobar is a lifelong El Pasoan who has dedicated her life to improving her community. As an El Paso County judge, she expanded access to affordable health care and cleaned up corruption. As the first Latina to represent Texas in Congress, she’ll fight for a just immigration system and health care for all.

"Veronica Escobar has proven herself to be an exceptional advocate for El Paso. She supports the issues I am very concerned with, such as the environment, improving economic relations with Mexico, responsible immigration reform, and so forth. She is progressive, intelligent, and I do not believe she would back down when defending our district and the United States of America against the corruption of the present administration and Republican-led Congress."—Barbara from El Paso
