itchie Torres is the sitting city council member for New York's 15th District. At the age of 25, Torres became the youngest elected official in New York City and the first member of the LGBTQ+ community to represent the Bronx. Torres is a product of public housing, public schools, and public hospitals. His experience growing up in a housing project with a single mother opened his eyes to the reality that those living in poverty are often left without the resources they need to make ends meet. If elected to Congress, Torres will fight for quality health care, fair housing, and equal education for all children.
